The Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive ushers in a new era of immersive production. It is the world's first camera designed to capture Apple Immersive Video content for the Apple Vision Pro. With its two 8K sensors synchronized at the pixel level, it records a stereo image with exceptional precision, offering a total resolution of 8160 x 7200 per eye. With a dynamic range of 16 stops, it guarantees cinema-quality contrast and colors, ideal for high-end immersive content creators.

Optical technology and professional performance

The URSA Cine Immersive features a large-format stereo lens system specially designed for its sensors. Its fixed focal length and field of view greater than 180° offer natural and smooth panoramic capture. The integrated infrared ND filters allow perfect exposure control, while the 5” 1500 nits touchscreens provide precise monitoring, even outdoors. Compatible with frame rates up to 90 fps, it ensures optimal fluidity for VR and 360° productions.

Storage, connectivity, and Cloud workflow

Designed for professionals, the camera includes a removable 8TB Blackmagic Media Module capable of recording in high bitrate Blackmagic RAW 8K. The 10G Ethernet and WiFi connectivity allow fast transfer and synchronization via the Blackmagic Cloud, facilitating remote collaboration and editing in the included DaVinci Resolve Studio.
