This mixed-reality headset boasts state-of-the-art 4K by 4K visual fidelity and an expanded field of view up to 120° x 105°. With a resolution of 3840 x 3744 pixels per eye, you can view and work on projects of any size. The impeccable aspheric clarity of the full-dome optics enables total immersion, so you can see everything going on around you, without having to worry about black edges or distortion.

Varjo XR-4: total immersion

Varjo XR-4 is designed for total immersion. In addition to exceptional visual fidelity, it features advanced eye tracking and head tracking. This allows you to move freely in virtual space, while maintaining precise control of your environment. Advanced sensor fusion technology combines 300 kpix extended-range LiDAR, 200 Hz eye tracking and brand-new ambient light reconstruction cameras. This enables Varjo XR-4 to track your position and movements with unprecedented precision.

Human visual rendering and software compatibility

The Varjo XR-4's passthrough cameras copy the way human eyes work, making it easy to blend the real and virtual worlds so that you can't tell the difference. The headset is equipped with two 20-megapixel front cameras for high-quality mixed-reality rendering. To fully exploit the resources of the Varjo XR-4, the headset is compatible with a wide range of professional 3D software, including OpenXR, Unreal Engine, Unity and many others, although a minimum system configuration is required to use the headset.
