What accessories are compatible with the Oculus Quest 2?
Released in September 2020, the Oculus Quest 2 has arrived on the market with a price tag 100 euros lower than its predecessor, a slimmed-down design and improved technical performance. While it already has plenty to surprise in its standard version, we can't help but wonder what accessories, old or new, the Oculus Quest's predecessor can be equipped with? The Xonevo team has put together a list of the accessories you can already fit on the Oculus Quest 2.
Oculus Quest 2: basic accessories
Hygiene and maintenance products
The Oculus Quest 2 is mainly made of plastic, which makes it easy to clean and use various products. What's more, it's possible to use most of the hygiene accessories we usually recommend for Virtual Reality headsets.
Accessories such as the Lenspen cleaning spray, wipes and pen are essential for helmet cleaning. They have been designed for practical, precise and effective cleaning, even of the most sensitive parts such as lenses. Easily clean and remove all traces left on the headset after use.
It's also possible to keep the Oculus Quest 2 clean with accessories such as hygienic protectors, which fit over the insert on the facial interface. Dirt is blocked by the protection and does not accumulate on the headset. These accessories, already used for several other headsets models, are particularly useful for professional activities involving a large number of users for the same headsets.
Protection, transport and storage
To keep all your equipment safe and in one place when you're on the move, you can use a suitcase or a dedicated rack. Store all your equipment.
The case models available in our store are equipped with all the features needed for transport, security and storage. For example, the case with foam interior features pre-cut slots specially designed for secure headset storage, and remains compatible with the Oculus Quest 2. However, if your use of the Oculus Quest 2 doesn't require dedicated transport accessories, but you'd like to be able to store it neatly, there are a number of brackets that may be suitable. The Oculus Quest 2 can be stored on a dedicated headset holder. Depending on your preference, you can store controllers and cables alongside the headset with a multiple holder, or hang the headset directly on the wall with a wall mount.
Improved autonomy with the VR Power battery
Other accessories can have an effect on Oculus Quest performance. This is the case, for example, with the additional VR Power battery, which is fitted directly to the headset.
Thanks to this intelligent 10,000 mAh battery, the Oculus Quest 1 & 2 can gain several hours of autonomy. It enables efficient, wireless recharging of the headset, even during use. It indicates the state of charge and, once fitted to the headset, a counterweight effect enhances comfort.

In addition to the accessories already available for the Quest series, Oculus has designed accessories specifically for the Oculus Quest 2. Whether for protection, comfort or headset performance, everything has been done to ensure that even the most demanding users can be satisfied.
The storage case
The Quest 2 carrying case is designed to hold the headset and all its accessories. Store the Quest 2, its cables and controllers, and the Elite strap if you have one. It's sturdy enough to protect your equipment on the move, and its foam interior makes for neat, risk-free storage.
The oculus link
Already available for the previous model, the Oculus link is a high-speed fiber-optic cable that connects the headset to a computer. The Oculus link gives the Oculus Quest 2 as much power as a PC headset. It offers a solution for those who no longer want to experience Virtual Reality with a stand-alone headset, and who want access to more content.
The Elite strap
The Elite strap has been designed to replace the default strap and improve comfort. This ergonomic improvement is complemented by an integrated knob that allows you to release more or less weight from the strap, thus adapting to different body shapes. The Elite strap is also available in a version with an integrated battery to double the Oculus Quest 2's autonomy.
The fit pack
The fit pack is designed to make wearing the Oculus Quest 2 even more comfortable, thanks to two inserts and two anti-light covers. The inserts come in different sizes, each designed to match a different facial morphology, from the thinnest to the widest. By positioning themselves at the nose and inserts, the covers offer an ingenious solution to ensure that immersion is not disturbed by external lights.
